The Hiring of Ms. Nichols – Day one(Cont’d)

It’s time you head over to Marcel’s for some clothes shopping Ms. Nichols. He will take good care of you. When finished you may head home. I want you back in the office at 7:30AM tomorrow morning. We have some client meetings to prepare for.
“Yes Sir. Is there something special I should wear tomorrow…for the client meetings?” she asked.
“No. Anything you go home with tonight from Marcel’s will be fine and it will be consistent with your daily attire as we previously discussed.”
“Ok Sir, see you in the morning” she said. Ms. Nichols did not want to leave him. He was an amazing man that made her feel so wonderful. She couldn’t wait for tomorrow to arrive.
The Hiring of Ms. Nichols – Day one.(Cont’d)

Ms. Nichols had spent the last hour sitting at her desk, organizing her files and drawers and getting use to her computer. Her desk was very contemporary. While file drawers were on either side of her, the center of her desk was open like a table and she faced directly at the entrance door. She made a mental note about keeping her legs together on days she wore a short skirt otherwise visitors would get a nice view of her sex.
All of a sudden a voice came out of her desk phone. “Ms. Nichols, it’s Mr. Kane, we will be leaving for lunch in 5 minutes. Be ready.”
She stuttered “Y-Yes Sir” due to still being startled by Mr. Kane. She did not realize the phone had a built in intercom.
Mr. Kane walked out of his office exactly 5 minutes later and did not even break stride. “Come” was all he said. Ms. Nichols jumped from her seat and started walking quickly to catch up with him. She made it through the elevator doors just before they closed. Mr. Kane, without even looking at her, said, “Ms. Nichols, I expect in time you will be able to anticipate my wants and needs. I do not expect this now, but start paying closing attention to everything. Absorb every little detail and listen very carefully to everything I say. Eventually, you will be just an extension of me, working as seamlessly as my right arm. I purposefully did not stop at your desk when walking by. I wanted you behind me. When we are walking together, unless instructed otherwise, you will be one and half paces behind me on my left side. Understand?”
